ABOUT EVENT

The second event under our Youth4SDGs: Vision 2030 series took place on February 22, 2022, in New Delhi.

#Youth4SDGs is to raise awareness about the subject of sustainable development among India’s youth to get them engaged in the process of helping and creating projects targeted at achieving the goals on a local and international level. The recent dialogue began with the welcome address by Lt. Gen. Sunil Kumar Gadeock of Amity University. The event was hosted by Raisina House, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, supported by Tatsat Chronicle.

The whole dialogue was divided into three sessions. The first session was with Walter J. Lindner, German Ambassador to India and Bhutan, who spoke on Development of India-Europe Relations. The topic of the second session was Imagining Our Cities Towards Sustainable Cities and Communities, with Aparna Das, Senior Advisor at GIZ, as speaker. The speaker of the third session was Pragya Sethi, Head of Youth Engagement, terres des hommes Germany India Programme, who spoke on the Importance of Education for a Better Future. The #Youth4SDGs Policy Dialogue was followed by high tea at The Lalit Hotel, New Delhi.
