The Kisan Credit Card Campaign is here to secure better buying prowess for farmers across a number of niches including fishery, dairy, animal husbandry and many others. Since India is known for being an agro based economy that has the maximum contribution from the agricultural sector, especially when it comes to the export economy, it should come as no surprise that policy makers and governments in India have always been preoccupied with farmers and their welfare. While modernization of farm to market pipelines as well as the establishment of funds and better welfare opportunities are only some of the measures taken for the rather widespread farming community in India, there have been a number of ways in which the government has always tried to uplift the way farmers live and grow their produce.
