Tribal Community to Receive Higher Economic, Social and Political Welfare

Sri. G. Kishan Reddy, Union Minister for Tourism, Culture and DoNER was a part of the birth anniversary celebrations of Amar Shaheed Bhagwan Birsa Munda, a day that is also celebrated as Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas. On this momentous occasion, the Minister pointed out how more inclusion was being accorded to the tribal communities in all quarters of the nation for better tribal welfare. He made a special mention of the 8 tribal background members who are now a part of the prestigious Union Council of Ministers even as he added that there could not be a higher representation of any community that this.

While he spoke, he also ensured that he addressed the growing concerns over inclusion and did his part to reassure the people present that inclusion would very much be a part of any and every tribal welfare related policy. He mentioned that sustainable development would be at the core of such activities so as to elevate the quality and level of the economic, social and political welfare accorded to individual and communities from the tribal areas.

While he spoke about better healthcare, infrastructure and even better education and awareness opportunities along with jobs for these people, he also stressed on how keeping their habitats and environments safe was a part of the sustainable development and rural development plans for all these areas and regions. In the social and economic aspect, he noted how the government was committed towards creating better avenues for job creation and to get the private parties to partake in tribal welfare and development so that the infrastructure and opportunities may also arrive there, accordingly.

On the economics of it all, he spoke of how the year 2021 – 22 had seen the highest ever Tribal ministry budgets that would no doubt, create jobs, tribal welfare and better living conditions for the people of these areas.
