The aim of #Youth4SDGs was to raise awareness about the subject of sustainable development among India’s youth to get them engaged in the process of helping and creating projects targeted at achieving the goals on a local and international level. The dialogue began with the welcome address by Raisina House followed by an address by Royal Danish Embassy and Tatsat Chronicle. The whole dialogue was divided into three sessions.
The first session was with H.E. Ambassador Freddy Svane, Ambassador of Denmark to India, who focused on the relationship between India and Denmark towards a strategic Green Partnership. In the second session, H.E. Alex Ellis, British High Commissioner to India, and Mr Sohanjeet Randhawa, Director of Sustainability Affairs, The Volvo shed some light on Climate Change Action and the Future of Mobility. In the third session, H.E. Susan Ferguson, Country Representative, UN Women shared her views on the Generation of Equality. The #Youth4SDGs Policy Dialogue was followed by high tea at The Lalit Hotel, New Delhi.
