Mahesh Babu Foundation Funds Heart Surgeries, Interventions of 30 Children

The actor, who has been associated with causes that help sick children is committed to supporting kids through the Mahesh Babu Foundation

On World Health Day, Telugu film actor Mahesh Babu organised a fundraiser to save the lives of more than 30 children. The actor sponsored the cardiac surgeries and procedures of these children with the help of doctors from Andhra Hospital, Vijayawada and the Mahesh Babu Foundation.

Mahesh Babu’s wife Namrata Shirodkar Ghataneni thanked Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan on her Instagram account for facilitating the event and providing support.

She also thanked the doctors for making the initiative successful. Her Instagram post read, “Thank you team @andhrahospitals for your commitment to medical excellence and quality healthcare.”

Namrata also shared photos of the children who underwent the surgeries.

The Telugu actor has been supporting sick children. Through his foundation, he has facilitated heart operations for more than 1,000 children at Andhra Hospital.

Mahesh Babu, who adopted Buripalam and Siddhapuram villages in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, respectively, contributes to the health and sanitation programme and is responsible for social awareness in these villages through his foundation.
