Sterlite Power has won the Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative of the Year – India for the initiative of its subsidiary, Sterlite EdIndia Foundation, for training more than 2 lakh teachers across the states of Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Tripura and Uttarakhand, during the pandemic.
Sterlite Power Transmission Limited, a private sector power transmission infrastructure developer and solutions provider, has been recognised at the Asian Power Awards 2021. Its foundation, EdIndia is a section 8 Not for Profit Company that leverages technology and data analytics to create innovative solutions to impact the quality of education at scale.
Sterlite EdIndia Foundation is engaged in the business of, amongst others, promotion and undertaking the corporate social responsibility activities of Sterlite Power and its subsidiaries. The electricity transmission infrastructure firm, part of Vedanta group, has two business lines — global infrastructure and solutions.
