In order to commemorate the 75 years of India’s Independence, “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav”, the National AIDS Control Organization will conduct a campaign in Chhattisgarh to make the youth aware of AIDS control, TB eradication, and blood donation. The awareness campaign will be launched in Chhattisgarh from International Youth Day on August 12.
The state unit of the National AIDS Control Organization has selected 75 schools and 75 colleges for this purpose. During the awareness campaign, schools and colleges will be included in Red Ribbon Clubs. The cadets of NSS, NCC, and Bharat Scouts and Guides will participate in various competitions including rangoli, painting, poetry, and essay writing. The entire campaign will be organized in three phases in seven districts of the state. Over 11 thousand students are expected to be connected with this campaign.
