It has been two years since the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) came to the world. It changed the definition of “general” and affected almost every industry – be it travel, education or healthcare.
But surprisingly, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), some countries have been able to contain the coronavirus epidemic since it began in late 2019, with no cases.
Most of these countries and territories are islands in the Pacific and Atlantic oceans, and are likely to be experiencing the benefit of bordering only the sea. Some countries have also adopted strict travel policies that have helped them successfully control infections. Two of these countries are under dictatorship, so it is difficult to obtain accurate information.
Although these countries have not reported any incidents of Covid-19, it cannot be denied that in some cases they may have gone unnoticed.
