The government of Jammu and Kashmir signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the government of Dubai for the construction of real estate, industrial parks, and a super specialty hospital, among other things

According to J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, the Jammu and Kashmir administration inked an MoU with the government of Dubai on Monday for development projects comprising real estate, industrial parks, IT towers, multipurpose towers, logistics, medical college, and super specialty hospital. Union minister for Commerce and Industries Piyush Goyal told the media at Raj Bhawan here that during his recent visit to Dubai, King Sultan Ahmed indicated interest in visiting India, particularly J&K, to engage in real estate. “I invited him, and the repercussions are now obvious. Goyal stated, “We have inked an MoU with Dubai for real estate industry in J&K.”

People from Dubai would now flock to J&K, he claimed, and the UT will benefit the tourist and real estate industries. The importance of the day was underscored by Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal, who stated that with the signing of the MoU with the Dubai Government, the world has begun to notice the speed with which Jammu and Kashmir is catching up on the development bandwagon. This MoU sends a strong message to the rest of the world that Jammu & Kashmir is playing an important role in India’s transformation into a global power. This MoU marks a turning point in the growth of the country, as it will attract investment from all around the world. Several Dubai-based organisations have expressed an interest in investing. On all fronts, development must be pursued, and we are on track.
