According to the corporation, this service gives women partners with a chauffeur-driven automobile that is equipped with a GPS tracking system and other safety features in the event of an emergency. This programme, which started with a few stores in Mumbai and Bangalore, will be expanded to a few more routes in the coming years, according to the company. “Our goal with The Women Transportation Program is to support our female partners in every manner possible and at every step of their journey, empowering them to advance in their careers.” Our goal is to boost partner morale by implementing initiatives that prioritise their safety, comfort, and professional development…,” CEO Sushant Dash said.

In addition, on October 8, the firm opened its ninth all-women store in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). Starbucks opened its first all-women store in India in August 2020, marking another another step toward increasing possibilities for women in leadership roles at the firm. The company now has 11 all-women stores in India, with more on the way, according to the company. The new initiative supports the objectives of Tata Starbucks’ female partners by allowing them to choose a shift that best suits their professional and personal needs, fostering a welcoming and supportive workplace. This project is the perfect facilitator, as per current legal criteria that allow women employees to work during night shifts (beyond specific defined hours by each state), as long as the firm provides transportation.
