Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, announced on Saturday that his government will begin distributing tablets and cellphones to the youth by the end of November. While laying the foundation stone for a government medical college in Sultanpur, he made the statement. “To equip the youth of Uttar Pradesh with the latest technology, the state government will start providing tablets and laptops from the final week of November,” he added, asserting that his government is aiming to give employment to all youth without discrimination.

According to the earlier statement, the decision to provide the gadgets was made with the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic in mind, as classes are held online. During the lockdown, several students had technological difficulties, which had an immediate impact on their education. The distribution of smartphones and tablets will assist students in effectively completing their courses. According to the UP government, the chief minister also launched 126 development projects worth Rs 46.33 crore in Sultanpur and 99 projects worth Rs 334.24 crore in Ambedkar Nagar. Adityanath of Sultanpur, criticising the Congress and the Samajwadi Party, claimed that previous governments had only one goal: to “toy with people’s religion and obstruct the country’s growth.”

In Sultanpur, Adityanath attacked the Congress and the Samajwadi Party, saying that previous governments had only one goal: to “toy with people’s faith and obstruct the country’s growth.” He claimed that during the Congress-led government at the federal level, scams were commonplace. The approach of previous governments had startled and angered the people, he said. “The advantages of development programmes were exclusively available to one household.” One Delhi family and one Lucknow family used to steal the money of the poor. People used to perish from starvation and a lack of basic necessities,” he explained. When Prime Minister Narendra Modi took office, he campaigned on the slogan’sabka saath, sabka vikas,’ ensuring that the benefits of government initiatives reached everyone without prejudice, he added.
